Photography is so much more than capturing an image, pictures capture feelings and our history. I am so privileged to be able to do what I love and give back to others at the same time. My hope is that my work will remind families of the important things-the little moments memories are made of.

One of the tiniest newborns I have ever photographed; meet sweet little “I”, only 8 days old and weighing in at 5lbs. :o) She looks precious as can be in her teeny pettiskirt by our friends at Belle Ame. Take a peek at more from her session…she and her beautiful Mama were a sheer pleasure to capture.

thank you all so much for the well wishes..she is doing better and continues to be my editing “sidekick” resting comfortably in my lap the whole time I work on my PC! lol.. awww..yah..she is just a little bit spoiled..ha!

Here is tiny sneak peek at M U S E…believe me, it’s so hard for me not to share more and spoil the website debut..but I am resisting temptation! lol Here are a few answers to some questions about “M U S E by tamara”-
What is M U S E? – M U S E is a division of FTT and will have it’s own website. It is dedicated to portraiture for girls.
What is unique about M U S E? – M U S E has been a dream of mine for some time, it’s the combination of several of my favorite things…beauty and modern vintage expression. The portraiture M U S E will offer is unique in that the images are timeless and ones that I can only imagine will be cherished for a lifetime. We all have those portraits from our teen years that we wish to hide in the very back of the closet…..M U S E hopes to change that. With a direct approach towards fashion and editorial styling, you will feel like a Vogue model when you view your images. Senior packages will be available but M U S E is not exclusively for senior girls.
Will all the images reflect vintage styling? -Of course not, I pride myself on having a unique knack for mixing modern and vintage in a way that allows for timeless, yet cutting edge portraiture. I will be your photographer and stylist..working closely with you every step of the way.
Where will the sessions take place? -Just as in any high fashion photo shoot, the locations will vary and will be scouted out according to our vision for your portraits and styling.
When can I book a M U S E session? -I hope to debut M U S E by the end of the summer.

You never cease to amaze me. I love the way you captured her beauty. These pictures can make these young ladies feel so good about themselves! I would have given anything to have had this opportunity when I was sixteen. What a great gift to these sweet girls.

gillian crane - i like that the sale is on 16×20 and larger-i want everybody to have big huge canvases in their house and when clients get their 11×14 canvases, they’re always sorry they didn’t spend a few extra dollars and go bigger.
Melissa - Tamara is absolutely right it is Stunning! It look amazing on your wall, but I really like this one of Gracie holding it.
