Meet Ethan, a wonderful 10 year old boy with an amazing sense of humor and a beautiful heart!  Ethan and his family are my latest session for the Tiny Sparrow Foundation, and I had a great time getting to know them.  Ethan is quite the jokester and made me laugh with his references to the photographer posing methods depicted in the “Napoleon Dynamite” movie! lol

The Tiny Sparrow Foundation in a non-profit organization that creates photo memories for the families of children facing life threatening illnesses.  TSF has applied for the Pepsi Refresh Grant.  This grant would provide the foundation with much needed funding to expand and help more.  Please click on the image at the bottom of the post to vote.  You can vote every day in May and you can vote by text as well.  Text to 73774 and enter 106218.  To read more about Ethan’s courageous story please see his full slideshow on the Tiny Sparrow Foundation blog  by clicking here.

Here are a few images from another recent session for Tiny Sparrow Foundation.  This time I had the honor of capturing  handsome Gavin and his wonderful family.  The image of this sweet boy and his crystal blue eyes will be forever etched in my heart.  Gavin has a twin brother and baby sister and so much about this family dynamic reminded me of my own two boys and baby girl.  I was particularly moved watching Gavin and his mom interact…the love was tangible.  Please take a moment to view his slideshow and read his story by visiting the Tiny Sparrow Foundation blog.

As I had mentioned in a past post, I have become  very involved with the Tiny Sparrow Foundation.  This foundation offers portrait sessions and memory books to families of children facing life-threatening illnesses.  I will be posting a few images from my  Tiny Sparrow shoots here but you must visit the Tiny Sparrow blog to see the slideshow and read these brave families’ stories.  Please see Zala’s slideshow and story here.

I just want to add that these children were absolute angels to work with!  Complete naturals in front of the camera and SO well behaved.  Mom, you are doing an amazing job!!  Hugs to the “Z-pack”. ;)
