Well hello everyone!! I hope the new year finds you all well. I know that it’s been quite awhile since my last post but I was in serious need of some mental downtime and rest. My mom described it to me as- “hibernation” …so yes, I guess that is what I have been doing, but it’s time to come out of it and get back to life. I think that at times those of us with artistic sensibilities tend to benefit from giving the creative mind a break to allow it to renew itself. It’s the old “keep your cup full” theory, I try to apply that in my life so that I may better serve my family, friends and of course, clients. So if you are still reading- on to my first post of 2010~!
Meet our darling new addition-Mr. Henry “Bean” Burross! lol He is the latest member of the menagerie in my house and we are all completely in LOVE!! I hope you enjoy some puppy love pictures..he was sleepy for this photo shoot..poor thing! I look forward to sharing an ADORABLE client session with you all soon!!
I hope you all had a fun and safe Halloween yesterday, I know we did and I am still on a sugar high! lol I think I love Halloween so much because it actually gives me an excuse to dress everyone up and take pictures~! This year Grace wanted to be something spooky (a sure sign she is getting older :( , so she was a “ghost bride”. I actually love the way she looked and the costume was-gasp-store bought!! Yes folks…I found a costume that I loved and it was nice not having to stress over sewing something during my busiest time of the year. The boys also dressed up, Dylan the oldest actually had to for work so he went as Twilight’s “Edward”-smart boy! lol All the girls complimented him! Colton, as usual, wanted to be very scary and went as Freddy (ugh). Here are a few images from our day..I know my chihuahuas are missing this year and that tells you just how busy I have been…I LOVE dressing them up. No worries though..I promise Xmas pics of them for sure. :o) Happy Sunday!
I wanted to wish you all a very safe and happy 4th of July with your friends and family!! Our little dogs love the summer more than we do I think! We can’t even reach for the beach towels and sunblock without a scurry of feet and wagging tails…they LOVE the pool!! Our boy dog, Valentino, (Tino as we call him) thinks he owns the pool and must guard over it at all times. That’s why I loved this cute t shirt that says “dog on duty”….how fitting!! I hope you will indulge me and take a peek at my silly dogs and their favorite pastime!
Who says dogs don’t smile?!!!!!
Good boy Tino…you are a great lifeguard! lol
